The new G4 Plug-Ins are installed straight into the standard factory enclosure. The OEM circuit board is removed and replaced with the tuneable G4 unit. Once installed the upgrade is visually undetectable except for the USB cable which remains for tuning purposes.
All G4 plug-in ECUs come with a base map. While these maps are designed to help save time for you and your tuner, it is essential that these are used simply as a starting point for further tuning.
