Hire of Dyno Cell
YOUR Calibration Engineer { YOUR Preferred Mapper}
Cell hire £60/hr +VAT
Half day hire £200 + VAT
Full day hire £350 + VAT
THOR "operational" support is charged at £60/hr +VAT on top of the above rates. This is to answer queries on operation of Dyno cell equipment and how to manipulate the vehicle to do what your mapper wants.
We will NOT offer tuning advice.
We maintain the right to abort any dyno operations that THOR staff feel is endangering the dyno occupants, other workshop staff or any equipment within the dyno cell.
Repairs to damaged equipment through miss-use will be charged for so please ASK first!
Off-Site Hire
THOR Calibration Engineer { Mapper } Off - Site Hire (in UK)
Full Day £500+VAT (plus ALL expenses)
Per person and including travelling time.
50% of the pro-forma invoiced fee must be paid prior to departure.
Additional hours will be charged pro-rata.
THOR Calibration Engineer { Mapper } Off - Site Hire (in Europe)
Full Day £1000+VAT (plus ALL expenses)
Per person and including travelling time.
Flights, accommodation and 50% of the pro-forma invoiced fee must be paid prior to departure.
Additional hours will be charged pro-rata.
NOTES / CONDITIONS:
TIME
Half and Full Day hire MUST be Pre-Booked and Pre-Paid and no refunds are given for partial use.
Half Day = 4.0 hrs = (9.00am to 1.00pm) OR (1.30pm to 5.30pm)
Full Day = 8.0 hrs = (9.00am to 5.30pm with 0.5hr lunch)
Minimum DYNO charge is 1 hour and 0.5hr periods thereafter.
*** Regardless of actual time taken or delays if vehicle is not ready or has to be repaired whilst on dyno **
FIXED PRICE WORK
All hourly rates exclude fixed price work HOWEVER if your vehicle develops a fault and the fixed price work cannot be finished you will be charged for the time taken / elapsed at the appropriate hourly rate.
However if work is aborted due to THOR Racing or it's equipment being at fault we will complete the job on an alternate date for the agreed fixed price, less 10%.
DYNO CALIBRATION WORK
THOR Racing use a number of sophisticated mobile electronic devices to carefully monitor air to fuel ratio, engine knock (detonation) and other operational parameters.
We require that a O2 flange and bung be placed in to the exhaust downpipe to enable use to fit a wideband oxygen sensor.
No tuning / calibration is carried out during a 'Power Run'.
